WARDOGS Speed Leveling

Which actions feed which class fastest, and how to stack them without dying repeatedly.

How Class XP Works

Your overall WARDOG Level is built from six separate class XP tracks — Assault, Medic, Support, Recon, Driver, and Pilot — each leveling independently with its own XP bar. Whatever action you take feeds one specific class, so "leveling fast" really means picking one class and repeating whichever of its actions pays best.

Pick One Class

Every class levels independently — grinding Medic does nothing for your Pilot bar. Decide which one you actually want first.

Repeat, Don't Diversify

Class XP thresholds climb fast per level. One high-value action repeated beats several low-value actions mixed together.

Cash Follows XP, Not The Reverse

Most XP-paying actions also pay cash — see Income By Class for the full amounts side-by-side.

Easy Version

If You Don't Want To Read Further

Leveling Pilot?

Fly supply pallets to the zone. 750 XP per drop — the single highest confirmed XP action in the game.

Leveling Support?

Build structures with a squad. Every hit pays, not just the finish — see the breakdown below.

Leveling Medic?

Chain bandage heals on a squad taking chip damage. 80 XP per heal, no downed teammate required.

Leveling Driver?

Hit level 35, buy a tank, and get kills in it — vehicle-kill XP credits Driver. Prefer something safer? Shuttling teammates still pays 50 XP per delivery, +50 if they survive the drop.

Full reasoning, exact numbers, and the risk tradeoffs are below.

The Most Important Section On This Page

750 XP For One Pallet

Dropping a supply pallet into the zone as Pilot pays 750 XP — for the drop itself, not for anything a teammate later buys out of the crate. That's the single highest confirmed XP value for any one action in WARDOGS, roughly a Medic bandage heal (80 XP) and 15× a Driver zone delivery (50 XP).

What It Costs You

Requires an air vehicle, and no vehicle in the game is confirmed free — see Fast Money before buying one just to farm this.

Second Best

Dropping a small crate instead pays 250 XP — a lower but faster-to-fly consolation prize on the same Pilot track.

Best XP Action, Per Class

Confirmed XP values only — full cash amounts for the same actions are on Money. Ranked highest XP first within each class.

Pilot — Drop A Pallet

750 XP

Highest single-action XP in the game. Small crate drop pays 250 XP if you don't have time for a full pallet run.

Medic — Heal (Bandage)

80 XP

No downed teammate needed — any injured squadmate works. The most repeatable XP source in the game since it needs no cooldown to set up.

Support — Finish A Structure

15 XP

Plus 4 XP per marked "yellow X" hit and 1 XP per regular hit along the way — a full build banks all three, not just the completion bonus.

Driver — Tank Kills (Level 35+)

Vehicle-dependent

Reach Driver level 35 to unlock the tank, then fight from inside it — kill XP earned while driving a vehicle credits that vehicle's class instead of Assault, so tank kills feed Driver directly. It's the fastest Driver XP once you can afford the risk. Prefer something safer? Passenger delivery still pays 50 XP for the drop-off and another 50 XP if they survive ~10 seconds after leaving your vehicle.

Assault (Weapon-Dependent) — Kill / Vehicle Destroyed

Varies by weapon

Not a fixed number — feeds whichever class the weapon or vehicle belongs to. From an artillery vehicle specifically: 350 XP per kill, 150 XP per vehicle destroyed.

Recon — Spot Assist

Not confirmed

A teammate has to land the kill on your spotted target. XP amount isn't confirmed yet, so Recon can't be ranked against the other five.

Kills Are Fastest — If You Can Afford The Risk

Kill and Vehicle Destroyed XP is generally the highest-paying action per attempt in the game — a confirmed artillery kill pays 350 XP, well above a single Medic heal or Driver delivery, and a Driver-class tank kill can pay similarly toward Driver. If pure XP-per-action is what you're chasing, combat wins. The catch is that it's the only route on this page where dying wipes out your progress for that life: you lose your kit, and kits cost real money to replace. Combat leveling pays off fastest when you're running a loadout you can afford to lose repeatedly. If you'd rather not gamble your kit, Support, Medic, Driver transport, and Pilot XP all come from actions that don't put you in a gunfight at all — slower per action, but nothing to lose on death.

Common Questions

What's the fastest way to level Pilot in WARDOGS?

Dropping supply pallets into the zone pays 750 Pilot XP per drop — the highest confirmed single-action XP value in the game. Small crates pay 250 XP if a full pallet run isn't practical.

What's the fastest way to level Medic in WARDOGS?

A basic bandage heal pays 80 XP and only needs an injured teammate, not a downed one, making it the most repeatable XP source in the game.

Does WARDOG Level equal the sum of my class levels?

It appears to be — one confirmed example matched exactly (Assault 7 + Medic 8 + Support 5 + Recon 13 + Driver 3 + Pilot 2 = WARDOG Level 38). Treat this as a strong pattern from a single data point, not a proven formula.

Do all six classes level independently?

Yes. Assault, Medic, Support, Recon, Driver, and Pilot each have their own separate XP bar and level, gated by class-specific actions.

Is combat the fastest way to level in WARDOGS?

Often, yes. Kill and Vehicle Destroyed XP tends to be the highest-paying action per attempt — including tank kills, which credit Driver instead of Assault. The tradeoff is that dying loses your kit, so combat leveling pays off best when you can afford to replace gear repeatedly. Non-combat actions (Pilot supply drops, Medic heals, Support building, Driver transport) pay less per action but risk nothing on death.
