WARDOGS Controls

Keybinds, vehicle controls, and UI tricks that aren't obvious from playing casually.

Easy Version

If You Don't Want To Read Further

Join A Squad

Always join one on spawn-in. Squad radio is a separate channel from proximity voice chat, and it's free.

Practice Flying First

Team-killing a passenger by crashing costs $1,500. Learn a vehicle's controls before carrying teammates in a live match.

Use The Rebuy Button

Bottom-left of the vendor screen. One click rebuys your last loadout instead of reselecting everything after a death.

Check The Tooltip

Hover any vendor item to see the XP it grants — for weapons, that's the class its kills feed.

Full keybinds and vehicle controls are below.

The Most Important Section On This Page

The Rebuy Button

A rebuy button sits in the bottom-left corner of the weapons and items vendor. One click repurchases your exact last loadout — every weapon, attachment, and gear slot — instead of reselecting each item by hand after a death. On a page about not going broke, the time this saves matters less than the mistakes it prevents: rebuying guarantees you get back the loadout you actually meant to have, not a slightly different one assembled in a hurry.

When To Use It

Any time you die with a loadout you're happy with. It's the default, not a special case.

When Not To

After a level-up or a new unlock — rebuy repeats your old loadout, so it won't reach for something you've just gained access to.

Weapon Controls

PgUp/Dn

Adjust Zeroing

Page Up and Page Down step your zero up and down. Every weapon's confirmed zeroing range is listed on its own Weapons card — the AK74, for example, adjusts from 100m to 1000m in 100m steps.

Vehicle Controls

Full pricing and unlock data for every vehicle mentioned here lives on Vehicles.

WASD

Aim The Turret

A vehicle's turret, gun, or rotor blades can be nudged with WASD for small, precise adjustments — an alternative to the mouse, not a replacement for it.

2.0x

Vehicle Sensitivity

A separate sensitivity multiplier applies while you're in a vehicle, and it can be set as high as 2.0 for faster mouse turning — worth raising if turret aim feels sluggish compared to your infantry sensitivity.

R-Click

Request Helicopter Drop-Off

As a passenger in a helicopter, right-click requests the pilot drop you off. No need to type in chat or wait for them to notice.

Practice before you carry passengers — Killing a teammate costs $1,500, and that includes passengers you kill by crashing or mishandling a vehicle. Learn a new vehicle's handling solo before flying or driving it with a squad aboard. See Penalties.

Vendor & UI

Item Tooltips Show XP

Hover any vendor item to see the XP category it feeds. For a weapon, that's the class its kills credit — check this before assuming a new gun levels the class you think it does. See Classes for the full breakdown.

Join A Squad On Spawn

Squads have no size limit and get a dedicated squad radio channel, separate from standard proximity voice chat. There's no reason not to join one immediately.
